history

The Kiddies Day Nursery was first established in Kidderminster in 1989 with the opening of their toddler unit offering care to 17 toddlers aged 2 – 5 years.  Denise, the owner and Janice, now working as the Stourport Manager, worked together for 2 years until Kiddies expanded into Stourport.

In 1996, the Kidderminster nursery extended their care facilities to the upstairs rooms and offered care to 12 babies aged 3 months – 2 years.

The second Kiddies Day Nursery opened in Stourport in 1992, once again only a toddler unit downstairs caring for 18 children aged 2 – 5 years.  In 1994, the Stourport nursery expanded further to include the upstairs area and offered care to babies aged 3 months – 2 years.

Since then both the Kidderminster nursery and the Stourport nursery have enjoyed a continual programme of expansion, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years in their nurseries and with the opening of their Kids Klub in the Kidderminster nursery in the year 2000, they now also provide an out-of-school Klub for all 5 to 13+ year olds. One very special feature of the Kids Klub is that whenever your child’s school is closed, for whatever reason, the Klub will open and care for your child!! 100% of our staff are qualified in childcare and over 50% of them are also qualified in Playwork.

The combined numbers from both nurseries lists The Kiddies Day Nursery as the largest provider of childcare in the area!!!
