Racheal Singer, employee of the month for May, nominated by a parent who said;
“she went over and above when it came to my son’s potty training. She really helped him settle back into nursery life after his injury.”
Congratulations to Laura who is our Employee of the Month for March. She was nominated by a parent who said;
“my son left his Batman at nursery on a Friday. I hadn’t realised and thought it was still in his bag. Laura turned up at our house on Friday evening as she knew he would be upset at leaving him behind. She went out of her way to do this for my son and it was very much appreciated.”

10 staff from our 20 staff workforce took part in an In-house training workshop
refreshing their knowledge on the current Child Protection/Safeguarding procedures.
50% staff further qualified in Playwork
Our Kids Klub – open every day for after school care and for all school holidays –
has the benefit of not only 100% qualified nursery nurses caring for the younger ones in the Klub,
but also half the workforce have chosen to now be qualified in Playwork,
which has given them insight into the needs and benefits of the older members of the Klub.
50% staff further qualified in 2009 EYFS Certificate
Since legislation 2009 introduced the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) into early years,
50% of our staff working throughout the age groups chose to study for the CACHE Level 3 Certificate in EYFS;
to further prepare themselves for the needs of all the age groups and
to give them the training necessary to develop long term planning sheets and daily lesson plans
to stimulate and encourage the children to explore and investigate the world around them.
